Adding: Widgetbucks

I got accepted to WidgetBucks the other day.

Originally, I submitted for UltimateRedskins and then just this morning put the code on this site (as you can see on the sidebar). It’s a lot easier to set-up than Adsense and doesnt conflict contextually either.

I like the look of these ads and they claim to have as high a rate as Adsense. I’ll see about that and report it back here when I get some hits on it.

I also replaced Amazon Ads. I might put them back up but not as big… maybe a single item?

Adsense Injection Plugin

I’ve been looking for a plug-in that goes inside your posts for a while now and I’ve finally found it: Adsense Injection. And the best part is, it always places the ad into random parts of your post. So if you click onto your post, it’s never at the same place twice.

I had tried several of the plug-ins that said they do this but I was never happy with any of them. This one is great and you should definitely give it a try.

The one thing I’m not happy with is that the ad butts up right next to your text. Sometimes it makes it hard to read. I’m trying to find the code so that I can modify it. Anyone have any suggestions?

Regardless, you should definitely give this a try. I love it and I’m going to put it on all my sites.

Adding: Adbrite

So I signed up for Adbrite today.

I’m not sure how I’m going to like it. The dashboard isn’t as informative as Adsense and the way you actually make the ads isn’t as good as Adsense. I’ll look into it more when later.

I added it to CatPuppy and I plan to just use it as an under image banner on individual posts – not on the front page of the site.

I found a plug-in called Google Adsense Under Image. We’ll see how it works because adbrite takes 24 hours for it to activate.
