My Cat Doesn’t Sleep With Me When I’m Drunk

Over the past couple of months, I’ve noticed something: My cat doesn’t sleep with me when I’m loaded.

On a normal night, she’ll curl up right next to me and sleep. But when I pass out on my bed after a good drunk she’s nowhere to be seen.

I wonder why this is?

- Is it my stanky alcolhol breath?
- Is it like a child not wanting to see their parent drunk so they avoid them?
- Is she afraid I’ll roll over on her?

I’m just so curious why she does this? Has this happened to anyone besides me?

I’d love to hear your thought’s on this.

Miracle Hangover Cure

It’s no secret that I like to drink. I love it love it love it. In a perfect world, my job would be to drink. On my tax forms, I’d put: Drinker.

But I can’t. So I drink as an amateur.

Most everyone who imbibes usually suffers from some form of hangover the next morning. I did as well. And the bad part was that the older I got, the worse the hangovers were. I couldn’t have this. So, I set out to find a hangover cure.

I tried all the remedies. Alka Seltzer, pills from GNC, drinking water before bed, drinks from 7-11 claiming it would rid your of your hangover and a million other things I can’t even remember doing. But none of it worked. Nothing. I was still waking up feeling like crap.

Then I stumbled upon the cure. This is safe for you to take and won’t kill you like Tylenol (you know you’re not supposed to take Tylenol for hangovers, right?) I’ve talked to doctors about this and all of them have said this was fine to take.

If it's free, it's for me

Why do I love free stuff?

My old neighbor gave me a portable car vacuum a while back. Didn’t need it. Didn’t want it. But as soon as he said I could have it, my mouth started to salivate and I had never wanted anything more in my life.

To this day, I’ve never used it. It’s been in my trunk from the minute I got it. Every time I turn a corner, I can hear it rattle around in there.

I only thought of this because today I was at one of the zillion Starbucks near me doing some work (yes, I’m one of those people) when I saw a bunch of people dressed in bright red and yellow shirts. Apparently, they were on some team building exercise for their work. It was like something you’d see on The Office.

Life Hack – The smartest thing I've ever done

Ok, not the smartest but it’s the biggest time saver.

I hate doing laundry – HATE IT – and the worst part about it is having to match socks together. It took forever.

One day, as I was matching sock to sock, I remembered a story about Jerry Lewis. Apparently, he only wears a pair of socks once and then gets rid of them. I don’t remember why he did this, but I thought it was the greatest thing in the world.

Then I got an idea:

I got rid of all my socks, went to the store and bought 8 pairs of the same black socks and 8 pairs of the same white socks. Now when I do laundry, I just toss everything into one drawer and not worry about matching socks. They’re all the same.

No need to thank me.

Tension Headaches suck (Updated)

I’ve had this freakin’ headache since Saturday – 6 days!

I went out on Friday night and drank…so I originally thought it was a small hangover (I never get hangover’s – I know, I’m blessed) but when it went into the evening, I got suspicious. I had already taken some Motrin but obviously that didn’t help. So, I popped some Tylenol.

Nothing.

I bought some Excedrin and started popping them. Still nothing. I’m still in pain and now it’s Monday. Tuesday, I go out and buy Excedrin Tension. Again, nothing! still don’t know what the deal is… I just want it gone so I decide to log onto Google to do some self-research.

U2 3D IMAX

I went to see U2 3D over the weekend and wow, I was amazed.

I love U2 and I had no idea this was even out yet so when I saw that it was playing locally, I dragged my butt to the theater to see it.

It was 3D and IMAX… so it was just incredible. When they guys first walked out and started singing Vertigo I got chills. They were right there in front of me – I could touch them almost… but I would have looked like an idiot if I reached out. I saw 2 shows in the last tour and this was almost as good. (more…)
