My Skyrocketing Alexa Rankings

I basically started my 3 main sites around the first of January. I was new to Wordpress, blogging, SEO and everything else involved with building sites - including Alexa and Technorati rankings. I noticed a couple weeks ago that my Alexa rankings were skyrocketing. This happened in less than 2 months. My New Dell Laptop

My Acting Website

Cleaning up and Ramping Up

Yesterday, I decided to a little early spring cleaning. I got rid of all the junk on my server at Dreamhost and started to get prepared starting up my other blogs. CPM = I’m an idiot

Here's another example of how much of an idiot I am: I just found out (or maybe that's realized) what CPM means. Cost per 1000 impressions. So, for every 1000 views of your website, you get paid. If you have the traffic of Yahoo, YouTube or MySpace this makes perfect sense. For people like me who still have a relatively small audience, this is bordering on stupidity. Shifting ads units around

If you haven't noticed, I changed some of the ad placements on this site - more so on UltimateRedskins. I tried to change them around on CatPuppy but I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with that site adwise. I'll address that in a later post. Denied: BlogRush

So, before I started this site I applied to BlogRush for UltimateRedskins. I got the referral from my friend at PhoFuki. He had started his site around the same time I did and I figured since he was accepted, I would be as well. Well...as my luck has been going with these types of thing, I was denied. Ok, fair enough. Adding: Widgetbucks

I got accepted to WidgetBucks the other day. Originally, I submitted for UltimateRedskins and then just this morning put the code on this site (as you can see on the sidebar). It's a lot easier to set-up than Adsense and doesnt conflict contextually either. I like the look of these ads and they claim to have as high a rate as Adsense.
